Our dear friend, Vicki Corder, wrote this poem.
Victoriously
I should be walking but
I
don’t think I can
Cautiously
I take a step
Towards
what….I don’t know
Oh,
the emptiness
Reeling
from the pain
I
know you are there
Opening
your arms to me
Under
the shadow of your wings
Sad, but safe and secure in Your Love
An amazing poem and it fits exactly where I am right now. Thank you so very much.

ReplyDeleteVicki, you are so brave. I know you probably don't feel like it, but you are and are an inspiration to me. I'm glad you were willing to put your heart in writing for us.
